In short, the Fenix 3 is the ultimate fitness watch, and one that comes highly recommended. There’s enough top level data for hardened triathletes and casual fitness fans who enjoy a diverse range of sports will get a kick out of seeing every activity tracked within one superb app. The impressive battery life crowns the Fenix 3 as a top sports watch, and while the smartwatch notifications aren’t the best, they combine with the activity tracking to make a watch you could wear every day.

I once got lost skiing in the middle of the French Alps. It wasn't fun. I eventually found my way out (thanks to the ski patrol). But had I worn a GPS watch that could have led me back to where I started, I would have been spared a few hours of anxiety. Of course, the Garmin fenix 3 Sapphire offers a lot more than just letting you know where you are. For those who want to collect as much data about their outdoor activities as possible, it's a valuable tool.

Nothing's ever perfect, but the Garmin Fenix 3 HR gets as close to perfection as possible with the ability to track multiple sports, serve as an outdoor GPS tracker, track your activity and sleep 24/7 for weeks, and serve as a basic smartwatch for essential notifications. Maybe I should have awarded it a perfect 10, but since it's a big watch that won't fit everyone I'll knock it down a 10th to 9.9.

An excellent watch for hardcore runners. Its minor niggles are offset by its great interface, battery life and software.
